Welcome to Annesley Primary School. Attendance results from the last week before 1/2 term are in. Another great week and close to our target again. As a school our attendance was 94.72%. The winners of the weeks attendance trophy is Doves with 99%. Well done.

Week 2

This week we really enjoyed reading The Great Explorer book. We learnt about what it is like in the Arctic and compared it to living in Annesley. We read about the real life explorer Ernest Shackleton and decided that we thought he was very brave and Archie Bear would have been proud of him because he never gave up. We had a go at building a shelter outside to keep us warm and dry in the Arctic.

In Maths we have been looking at 1 less than a number and squares and rectangles. We went on a shape hunt looking for squares and rectangles around the classroom

In phonics we learnt the new sounds w and x and tricky words he she we me be was my and you.
