Share a story Month - May

 

It's May and it is 'Share a Story Month.'  

 

heartWe would love for you all to share your favourite story with us.heart 

 

You could:

- get someone to video you, telling us about your favourite story and then read us your favourite part, 

- write us a book review, 

- draw us a picture of your favourite story, 

or even act out your favourite story. 

Just send us an email 

 

The Book of Hopes 

Below is a truly beautiful resource, which is free: The Book of Hopes: Words and Pictures to Comfort, Inspire and Entertain Children in Lockdown. It is an extraordinary collection of short stories, poems, essays and pictures with contributions from more than 110 children’s writers and illustrators. A lovely resource to share with the children.

Slug Needs a Hug - this isn't an all time favourite of mine, although, I do really like it and I thought that we are all in need of a hug at the moment. It also teaches us to just be ourselves and everyone who is important to us, will love us.
