Hello Jays and welcome to another P.E session with Mr E. This week I am wanting to look at stamina and endurance. These are important for athletes who run long distance races are for yourself so you can walk the dog for hours or to do a long walk with your family.

To build up our endurance we are going to do the Bleep Test, this is a continuous run that builds speed the longer your run.

Use the video or sound to try to run as far as you can. All you need is to set out a straight run of 15m, you can mark these with cones, socks or anything. All you need to do then is listen to the instructions and see how far you can run. Each beep is from one side to the other. Run as long as you can and send me your level. Rest for a few days and then try to beat your score. Keep a look out for my attempt on Wednesday.
