Healthy Snacks Information

 

We always advise and encourage healthy choices for snacks at Annesley . Fruit, salad, vegetables and low fat yoghurt help to give a slow release energy boost to keep you re- fuelled until lunchtime.  It is also important to stay hydrated and a water dispensing machine is available in our classroom . As a school we have provided every child with their own water bottle or , if you prefer ,you can bring your own from home . School bottles are washed , by staff , every week to minimise bacteria and you are advised to put clean water in your bottle each day , not to drink the previous days .  We do prefer children not to bring in fizzy drinks and unhealthy snacks as this can be detrimental to their learning.
