Welcome to Annesley Primary School. Attendance results from the last week before 1/2 term are in. Another great week and close to our target again. As a school our attendance was 94.72%. The winners of the weeks attendance trophy is Doves with 99%. Well done.

27/04/23 - Celebrating Autism Awareness day by wearing our most colourful clothes.

8/3/2023 - Thank you to Miss.Peacock and Mrs.Collins for organising our Mother’s Day event. Children had great fun decorating their own gift bags and choosing a present.

04/02/2023 - Eagle-y Crafted have been busy selling their resin products at the Summit Centre, Kirkby , today. Well done again team , you received many lovely comments on both your manners and commitment 👏.

06/12/2022 - Christmas cookies have been left as gifts for our children in the hall overnight, to celebrate Saint Nicholas’ Day. This German tradition says that leaving out a shoe on the eve of Saint Nicholas Day , children will find a treat the next morning.

27/11 and 04/12/22 - Eagle-y Crafted have been busy selling their resin products at both the Newstead Community Christmas Fayre and the JHK dance competition, earning funds for their end of year treats.

24/11/22 - Our choir entertained the crowds with some Christmas songs for the Christmas light switch on at the Acacia Center. Well done you sounded beautiful.

24/11/22 - Our resident entrepreneurs, Eagle-y Crafted, had a successful time selling their resin products at the Acacia Centre tree lighting event.

16/11/22 - Two PCSOs , from Notts Police, have visited today to talk to Year’s 5 and 6 about keeping safe within the community.

During Covid and in the weekends through lockdown, Chase walked the whole length of the Robin Hood Way, which is 107 miles! He managed to raise £900 and this amazing amount was split between school, scouts and White Post Farm. We used the money to buy archery equipment which will be used by the children in an after school club. Well done and thankyou Chase!

10/11/2022 - Years 4 and 6 have enjoyed a visit from Jess (from the National Grid) , who taught us all about being safe around electricity.
