In nursery this week, we have noticed that the leaves on the trees are changing colour. They have changed from green to yellow, brown, orange and some are red. When they change colour, they fall off the trees and float to the ground.
We have also been making patterns with autumn objects, made clay hedgehogs and painted them, the children collected leaves and then made hedgehog pictures by sticking the leaves on. The children had fun in the tough spot making homes for the woodland animals, we painted leaves with chocolate, peeled the leaf away, ate it and made some autumn soup.
