It's almost time to say farewell but there is still so much to do !
This last half term we will be making sure you are ready for your move to secondary school in September . There will be lots of transition work in class , as well as visits to your new schools - how exciting !
Of course we still need to practice for our end of term play and Leavers Assembly , R.S.E , receive our SATs results and plan our annual trip to .......
So much to do , so little time........
In Literacy, this last half term , we will be working mainly on your transition to secondary school , completing tasks that they set us and will show off our skills to our new teacher. There will be lots of drama as we practise and perform our end of year play.
Unfortunately , although the SATs tests have finished, we still have a couple more extended writes to do to finalise your literacy scores ; so remember to use all of that GPS knowledge you applied to your test.
Our Numeracy this half term will all be about fun . We will consolidate the four operations and apply this to our work . Hopefully the weather will let us get outside lots , so we can do lots of mathematical investigations regarding our new Forest Schools areas . Shape and measure , perimeter and area will feature heavily in this.
