Our Star Worker of the Week is...
Friday 14th July 2017
Faith & Isabella
You persevered with your poetry and, with guidance, produced a wonderful poem full of description(and rhyming couplets!). Well done.
You get a special mention for your poem and the "unique" way you delivered it to the class.
Friday 7th July 2017
You have produced some fabulous pieces of work this week - we especially liked the plate you designed, to celebrate British Empire Day, during our visit to Kirkby College. You have also shown you can act upon advice and have eliminated the silly mistakes you have been making in your weekly numeracy tests.
Friday 23rd June 2017
Isabella & Olivia
You are have both been "maths whizzes" this week. Izzy you really excelled in your percentages work and have proved that you can do it. Olivia you had the confidence to try a Yr6 paper and scored a wonderful 20/40 on your first attempt. Well done to the both of you.
Friday 16th June 2017
Faith & Terry
You produced some wonderful work in ICT. You both took the time to do research upon the Amazon Rainforest and then used the key words to create detailed word clouds which are now displayed upon our Topic Wall. Well done.
Friday 9th June 2017
Millie & Oliver
You have both worked extremely hard this week and produced well presented, high quality work. Oliver, your numeracy work (percentages) was excellent and you really understand the subject. Millie, you produced a really funny limerick in our literacy lesson and were even brave enough to read it our in class to your mum!
Friday 12th May 2017
Your work over the last week has not only shown what you can do but also the pride you take in producing your work. If we need a good example to show the class we know we only have to look in your books. Well done.
Friday 5th May 2017
You produced a fantastic piece of R.E. this week. You really understood that solving poverty is not easy and that just sending money doesn't stop the problems. You realised you have to help educate people so that they can help themselves. Such a grown up approach to the problem.
Friday 28th April 2017
Wow. What a great performance in this week's arithmetic test scoring 30/32. You really put into practice all the strategies we have been working on over the whole of this term.
A special mention to Harley for his great work in literacy in producing some really clear instructions on how to make a jam sandwich. You really thought about the success criteria you had been given. Well done.
