We are AMBITIOUS .
As part of our ARCHIE BEAR learning we have been researching the Paralympics and the athletes who compete , we are in awe of their ambition and determination . In P.E Mr.Henshaw arranged some 'paralympian' games for us - blind football , wheelchair tennis and one armed netball - it made us think about how hard our Paralympians train to be the best in their chosen event . We had lots of fun, even though it was really tricky and it has shown us you can achieve your goals, no matter what .
The Eagles have today been brushing up on their archaeological skills , following reports of a bone being found on the school field . An email from Dr.Philomena Wainright-Jones ( an eminent paeleontologist at the Natural History Museum ) showed the bone may have been of Jurassic origins . The Eagles dug and brushed and researched the bones and found that, in fact ,they were made of salt dough and had been buried by Mrs.Wraith and Mr.Eccleston as an end of term challenge .
GOTCHAAAAAA !!!!!!!!! 🤓
In memory of Splinter
It is with deep sadness we have to announce the passing of Splinter .
He was a handsome chap and always enjoyed being fussed over and pampered . He especially liked to sit on shoulders and watch over the Eagles . He enjoyed eating (very much ) and would have your arm off for a custard cream , but we loved him xxx
Our condolences go to his brothers , Moley and Snowflake .
Bye bye Splinter , gone but never forgotten xxx
